Goh Chye Khee
Goh Chye Khee's versatility with the paintbrush encompasses oil, acrylic, mixed media and watercolour. Over the past 30 years, the full-time artist has created a prolific number of paintings on his favourite subject: Singapore.
Bustling Chinatown with old provision shops and vegetable stalls, Singapore river with bumboats and shop-houses in the background, are painted with a sensitivity toward a bygone era.
Today Goh still paints a vibrant and flourishing Singapore, infusing his images of a modern and sharper skyline with energy and enthusiasm.
Goh Chye Kee has participated in many group exhibitions and his art is collected by private and corporate collectors.
